Chemotherapy Effects normally active divide cells such as those in the bone marrow, the reproductive system, gastrointestinal tract, and in the hair follicles, but most patients feel some side effects, they may include in such types;

1. Hair loss; this is the least harmful side effect of chemotherapy and it is unbearable. The use of a cold compact around the scalp when taking chemotherapy helps to stop hair loss. Hair will grow amazingly once the treatment is over
2. Nausea and vomiting; this is the common side effect of chemotherapy. It can be cured with anti-sickness medicines which your doctor will advice.
3. Mouth sores and ulcers; some chemotherapy drugs cause sores and ulcers in the mouth. It is very important to use mouth regularly.
4. Decreased in blood cells; during chemotherapy you may become anemic. Regular blood tests are done to make sure this does not happen.
5. Fatigue; chemotherapy affects different patients in different ways. Some find they can lead normal lives during treatment, but many feel that they become tired and have to take things more slowly .Only do as much as you can and be careful not to do extra work than your stamina.
