Responsibility of Pharmaceutical Companies

The pharmaceutical industry is expanding day by day because so many new companies are coming up that it is heating up the competition to higher and higher levels. Because of this high competition amongst the various companies of the pharmaceutical industry, the companies are wiling to do anything to gain maximum profits and be on top. This willingness to gain maximum profits sometimes results in degrading the quality of the medicine or the drugs.
Now I would like to tell you what happens in the pharmaceutical industry to tackle the competition. If some company, say A, comes to know that its rival company , say B, will soon be launching the product (medicine or drug) on which A is still working, then the company A will have to fasten up the development and testing of the product so that it can launch its product earlier than company B’s product. This is when all goes wrong. The development and testing in a pharmaceutical industry should be done properly failing which some side effects of the product may not be handled properly. If the testing is not done properly, then even after failing of the product on several samples, it is launched only in order to gain maximum profits out of the medicine or the drug. This is when medicines or drugs have side effects on some people and on getting complaints about the product, that particular product is banned by the health department of the government. So companies should note that health of people is at stake because of their product and act accordingly.
